Durch reziproke Kreuzung zweier stark unterschiedener Typen vonDatura meteloides Dunal konnte die ursprüngliche bzw. abgeleitete Sippe festgestellt werden. Die abgeleitete Sippe istDatura inoxia Mill. sehr ähnlich. Für ihr Entstehen werden infraspezifische Differenzierung oder Introgression vonD. inoxia inD. meteloides erwogen.
Diese diskutierten Möglichkeiten erklären die Schwierigkeit einer systematischen Trennung zwischenD. meteloides undD. inoxia.
Summary
From reciprocal crosses of two rather different races ofDatura meteloides Dunal it was possible to state both the primitive and the derived type. The derived race resemblesDatura inoxia Mill. This race is presumed to have its origin in infraspecific differentiation or introgression ofD. inoxia intoD. meteloides. The presumed possibilities show that it is difficult to distinguish systematically betweenD. meteloides andD. inoxia.
