In het centrum van bladvlekken, veroorzaakt doorFusarium spp. op hogere tarwe-bladeren, werd vaak een meeldauwsorus aangetroffen. De hypothese, dat beschadiging door meeldauwinfectie het binnendringen doorFusarium mogelijk maakt, wordt nader onderzocht.
