Applied Scientific Research Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The equations of motion governing the free vibrations of the compound centrifugal pendulum are stated, and the linearized solution is given. A comparison is then made between the exact (numerical) solution of the non-linear equations of motion and the linearized solution. This comparison is in the form of the ratio of the natural frequencies and is presented graphically and tabularly.
