Multipurpose facility for opticophysical research in wind tunnels

Abstract

The results of studies in the design and fabrication of a major opticophysical facility for the new TsAGI (Central Aerohydrodynamics Institute) wind tunnels are briefly summarized together with examples of its application in the solution of presentday aerodynamic and aeroacoustical problems.
