Abstract
The application of a special version of the nonlocal light-cone expansion to hadron processes with large momentum transfer is reviewed. The light-cone operators introduced in this approach may be considered as the relevant hadron operators: Their matrix elements between the vacuum and a one-hadron state coincide with the quark distribution amplitude, and their anomalous dimensions are unique extensions of the well known Brodsky-Lepage evolution kernels having also a simple relation to the Altarelli-Parisi kernels.
