Summary
Conway has devised and described the use of a cell “unit” for the microdiffusion of gases produced by the reaction of biological or other matter with reagents liberating from it diffusible gases into a solution that can be titrated back again. This unit has been modified in regard to the loss of gases from the original cell, inevitable when it is handled according to the requirements of the proper technic. The procedure also is simplified into a one-step manipulation and results have been obtained permitting the titration of twenty micrograms of nitrogen in an urea or ammoniacal salt estimation.
