Abstract.

An incomplete correlation is discovered between the phase conjugate reflectivity in Feinberg’s Cat conjugator generating a train of regular pulses with the cw incident pump wave and inhibited specular reflectivity from the sample. The frequency chirp within every spike of conjugate wave is shown to affect the efficiency of the secondary phase conjugator generating auxiliary waves in the direction of Fresnel reflection of the incident wave.
