Investigation of the waste heat recovery and pollutant emission reduction potential in graphitization furnace
2022, EnergyCitation Excerpt :Therefore, the predicted model of the temperature distribution and thermal stresses are investigated. Sato et al. [20] used thermoelastic theory to analyze the transient temperatures, thermal stresses and locally heated eccentric column of a graphitization furnace. Perruchoud et al. [21] analyzed the thermal stresses in the graphite electrode to predict the key stages and positions by simulating the stress changes during the electrode expansion in a graphitization furnace.
