Heating and compression of thin-walled shell pellet-type thermonuclear targets with an aspect ratio of ∼200,
irradiated with laser pulses of ∼1 kJ energy and ∼2 nsec duration in the Del'fin-1 facility, generated
∼106–107 DD neutrons per pulse. The results obtained by diagnostics of the hydrodynamic plasma
parameters and of the neutron yield were compared.
