Further interferometer observations of the water vapor sources in W49
Abstract
Interferometer maps have been made over an extended period of both low-velocity and high-velocity features in the water vapor source W49N; W49S has also been observed. The W49N source consists of six regions whose relative position remains stable with time, and whose geometric sizes are times their apparent sizes. The negative high-velocity emission comes mainly from a nebular region of size 3000 astronomical units by 400 astonomical units, which also contains the strong and persistent -7 km/sec feature. No relation between radial velocity and spatial position is discernable in this nebula, nor among the six regions.
