Abstract

A measurement of the magnetic moment of the $Ξ^{-}$ hyperon yielded the value $μ_{Ξ} = (- 2.2 \pm 0.8) μ_{N}$ . The $Ξ^{-}$ polarization averaged over the acceptance angle and the four-momenta at which data were taken was $\bar{P} = 0.30 \pm 0.05$ .
