Abstract

Evidence is presented for a new Y1* of mass 1680 MeV and width 120 MeV. It is produced in Kp interactions at 5.5 GeV/c and decays mainly into Λπ+ and Y1*(1385)π. The decay rate into K¯0p is 0.3±0.2 of the rate into Λπ+.
