Abstract

SU(3)-flavor-symmetry breaking substantially diminishes the binding energy of the recently proposed c¯suud bound states. The binding energies of the three resulting states of spin 1/2, 1/2, and (3/2 are approximately 85, 37.5, and 37.5 MeV as compared to 150, 100, and 100 MeV in the SU(3)-symmetry limit.
