Mass limits on scalar bosons in left-right-symmetric models

Abstract

A Linde-Weinberg-type argument and phenomenological constraints in left-right-symmetric models imply lower limits of at least 2 TeV on most Higgs particles of the model. We also discuss the effects of heavy (mass &) right neutrinos on these bounds.
