Abstract
The muon-spin relaxation rate has been measured in the high- superconductors for , and Cu in transverse external magnetic fields ∼1-4 kG. We find a simple relation which connects the transition temperature , the magnetic-field penetration depth , the carrier concentration , and the effective mass as . The linear dependence suggests a high-energy scale for the coupling between superconducting carriers.
