Observation and analysis of magnetostatic modes in K2CuF4

Abstract

By means of ferromagnetic resonance experiments, we have observed magnetostatic modes in the quasi-two-dimensional transparent ferromagnet K2CuF4. In spite of the problems with the shape of the sample resulting from layer structure properties of K2CuF4, we have been able to analyse the magnetostatic modes in terms of a normally magnetised disk.
