Der magnetokalorisohe Effekt wird vom Standpunkt der Honda-Ôkuboschen Theorie des Ferromagnetismus aus diskutiert. Die Ergebnisse der Theorie stimmen befriedigenderweise mit dem Okamuraschen Versuche des genannten Effektes überein.
