Abstract

In an exploratory study, different inorganic materials in mixture with various organic fibre materials were used for the manufacture of thin non flammable boards in order to optimize the mechanical characteristics. The material is intended to be used as a surface layer of lightweight non flammable boards for suspended ceiling elements as well as applications where a non flammable lamination is required.
