Zusammenfassung

Dicke und allgemeines Aussehen von gemesserten Edelfurnieren aus Hölzern des westlichen Himalaya werden mit Hilfe statistischer Verfahren untersucht. Die auftretenden Dickenschwankungen werden einmal mit den Dickenunterschieden, die durch die Einstellvorschriften des Herstellers entstehen, zum anderen mit den vorgeschriebenen Toleranzen verglichen.

Summary

The thickness and general appearance of the decorative veneers sliced from Western Himalayan timbers are analysed by statistical methods. The variations are compared with regard to the machine setting of the manufacturers and also the specified tolerances.
