Summary
The gas chromatographic separation of water, acetic and propionic acids was studied on several columns. For the routine analyses the best conditions were observed on the column containing 10% Emulphor-0 and 10% isophthalic acid on Chromosorb W, HMDS treated. This column was also used for the quantitative estimation of propionic acid formed during the radiolysis of succinic acid. The minimum concentration of propionic acid was 5.10−8 mole.
Sommaire
