Die polarographische Reduktion polyzyklischer are matischer Verbindungen kann als 1,2-, 1,4- oder 1,6 Addition erfolgen. Der Verlauf der Reaktionen lässt sic aus der Abnahme der Resonanzenergie ableiten.
