Conclusion

The technique of precise isotope determinations combined with isotope labelling or “spiking” is now being realized as a method of great potential for many scientific areas where quantitative and even absolute measurements are of interest. With LAMMA, providing high lateral resolution as a particular feature, quantitative analyses on microscopic scale are possible, opening exciting new possibilities in scientific research.
