Two taxonomic errors appeared in the report "Oak leaf quality declines in response to defoliation by gypsy moth larvae" by J. C. Schultz and I. T. Baldwin (9 July 1982, p. 149). In the first column on page 149, Quercus rubrum should have been Quercus rubra L., and in the first column on page 150, Q. nigra should have been Q. velutina Lam.
