Abstract
We have performed the proton pick-up reaction in direct kinematics using a deuteron beam at 27 MeV. The outgoing particles were detected at the focal-plane detection system of an Enge split-pole spectrometer. The excitation-energy spectrum was reconstructed up to 7 MeV and spectroscopic factors were obtained after analysis of the angular distributions in the finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation. The results show three new angular distributions for which the strength was measured and a lower limit of the centroid is established. State-of-the-art shell-model calculations are performed and predict a strength that lies too high in energy in comparison to our experimental results.
