Abstract:
This dataset contains molybdenum, uranium, and rhenium concentrations; molybdenum isotope compositions; pertinent major element concentrations; and total organic carbon contents of black shales from the ~2 Ga upper Zaonega Formation, NW-Russia. The samples originate from drill cores OnZaP 1 and 3. This data was collected using (multi-collector) inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry, inductively-coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, carbon analysis, and loss on ignition.
