Develop Silicone Encapsulation Systems for Terrestrial Silicon Solar ArraysA cost effective encapsulant system was identified and a silicone acrylic cover material containing a durable ultraviolet screening agent was prepared. The effectiveness of the cover material in protecting photo-oxidatively sensitive polymers was demonstrated.
