A study of coronal structures in a non-magnetic starConvective instability in the solar corona growth, especially linear growth, was studied. An investigation was also made of nonlinear instability development on a computer. The computer was used to follow a growing perturbation from a small local enhancement in the density of the solar wind to a large increase in the density which would look like one of the rays seen in the sun's corona.
