Low-profile landing-gear assemblyAssembly of cylinders, links, actuators, and gears permits landing-gear unit to be retracted into shadow of main engine intake ducts of supersonic transport aircraft. This is accomplished without adding to frontal area of aircraft or appreciably increasing total aircraft drag.
