Abstract
THE macrostomid rhabdocoel Macrostomum tuba has its main distribution in central and southern Europe and Japan, and appears to be absent from northern Eurasia1,2. It has been found, however, in a few warmed aquaria and warmed pools in botanical gardens in the latter region for example, Stockholm, Berlin, Munich, Warsaw and Helsinki, and also in New York.
