Abstract
IN a previous publication1 a difference in reactivity between the saliva of ‘tasters’ and ‘non-tasters’ towards 6-n-propylthiouracil was reported. This communication attempts further to describe the above phenomenon and to relate the data thus obtained to the mechanism of taste in general and to taste-blindness in particular.
