Abstract

An expression for the two-particle correlation function in hot nuclear matter at finite temperature is derived using a Green's function approach. A numerical evaluation is carried out for neutron-neutron correlations. The S-wave-resonance leads to a pronounced dynamical correlation for two neutrons with low relative momentum. The influence of the medium results in a significant suppression of this correlation for pairs with low total momentum with respect to the medium.
