Abstract

The magnetic phase diagram of pseudo-one-dimensional CsMnBr₃·2D₂O, as determined by means of neutron scattering, is found to deviate markedly from that for three-dimensional systems. Nevertheless, near the bicritical point the phase boundaries are described correctly by extended scaling theory.
