Abstract

We present experimental data for the signal amplitude of magnetoresistive bubble detectors employing thin film sensors, as a function of misalignment between the sensor and the overlaying stretcher chevrons. By modifying the shape of the stretcher chevrons covering the sensor and thus the effective drive field at the sensor, the one and zero signals can be controlled.
