Abstract

Linear-sweep chronoamperometry has been extended to various examples of reactions in the solid electrolyte LiCl-KCl. The oxidation and reduction of the electro-active species have been studied in different cases of repartition—the reagent being dissolved in the electrolyte, dissolved in the electrode, deposited in a thin layer on the electrode and reacting on a triple line. The oxidation and reduction current waves have been studied vs the concentration of the reagent and the temperature of the electrolyte in every case.
