Summary
Evaluation of Standardization Techniques for Mercury Speciation by Gas-Liquid Chromatography
Gas-liquid chromatography was employed for mercury speciation in urine samples. Use of daily calibrations with several points by extracted standards has been investigated and was found to give better accuracy than using unextracted standards. Certain calculations were studied to render the use of unextracted standards; but no useful relationship was found. Use of extracted standards is recommended for calibration.
