Zusammenfassung
Robuste Taucherwaagen von geringem „Reduzierten Gewicht“ lassen sich leicht herstellen, wenn als Material für den Plastikkopf statt Polystyrol (Dichte 1,05) das spezifisch leichtere Polyäthylen (Dichte 0,92) verwendet wird.
Sowohl das Reduzierte Gewicht als auch das Volumen begrenzen die Empfindlichkeit der Taucherwaage.
Summary
The use of polyethylene (density 0.92) instead of polystyrene (density 1.05) as cap material permits the easy construction of relatively strong diver balances of small “Reduced Weight”.
Both Reduced Weight and volume limit the sensitivity of the diver balance.
