Abstract.

Based on a theoretical analysis for injection-locked transversely excited atmospheric CO2 lasers, we proposed and demonstrated a time-gated injection technique for stabilization of the evolution of laser pulses. Spread of the build-up time as well as the time jitter is reduced by temporal control of the injection.
