Abstract
The limiting processes in the anti-Stokes Raman Laser (ASRL) are investigated in a Tl ASRL system. The detailed mechanisms and dynamics of ASRL action, photoionization, stimulated collision-induced fluorescence, collisional quenching and other radiative processes are determined, showing the competition among these processes for different experimental parameters.
