Abstract
The dependence on the bombarding energy of the number of ejected electrons from a policrystalline Ag target is determined. Statistical methods are used in the calculation of the inelastic energy loss due to binary atomic collisions and in that of the electronic stopping cross-section. The calculation is executed for the case of Se+ bombarding ion in the 10–200 keV energy range.
