Summary
The autoradiolytic decomposition of Pu(C2O4)2 · 6H2O has been studied by gravimetric as well as spectroscopic methods for compounds of 238Pu and 239Pu. Irrespective of the specific activity, all oxalates investigated are decomposed to PuOCO3 which appears to be a final product and remains stable even after ten years of storage.
