Control experiment for the measurement of precision masses by mass spectrometry

Summary

A control experiment, performed independently by three separate mass-spectrometric systems, demonstrates that precision-mass measurements can be carried out with commercially available instruments with sufficient accuracy to obtain the elemental composition of a sample.

Zusammenfassung

Ein Ringversuch ergab, daß massenspektrometrische Präzisionsmassenbestimmung mit kommerziellen Geräten mit einer Genauigkeit ausgeführt werden können, die bezüglich der Berechnung der elementaren Zusammensetzung von Substanzen im allgemeinen hinreichend ist.
