Zusammenfassung
Die Isotopenverdünnungsanalyse im Zusammenhang mit »selected ion monitoring« wie auch die Massenfragmentographie im weiteren Sinne gestatten quantitative Bestimmungen kleinster Substanzmengen mit Hilfe der Massenspektrometrie; die gegenseitige Beeinflussung der Massenpeaks verlangt jedoch bestimmte mathematische Voraussetzungen zur Berechnung der Ergebnisse, die hier vorgestellt und anhand von Beispielen erläutert werden.
Summary
Isotopic dilution analysis in connection with “selected ion monitoring” as well as mass fragmentography in a broad sense, allow quantitative determinations of small quantities of substances with mass spectrometry. The presence of peaks of more than one substance at the (m/e) points of the spectra necessitates the use of a careful mathematical analysis, which is introduced in this work. Examples are considered.
