Gravimetric determination of indium by benzenephosphonic acid

Summary

Results are presented for the quantitative determination of indium by benzenephosphonate precipitation. The precipitation is carried out between pH 2 and 4 and the results are reproducible. Because of the interference of several ions indium is preferably separated prior to its precipitation.

Zusammenfassung

Indium kann im pH-Bereich 2–4 quantitativ als Benzolphosphonat ausgefällt werden. Da eine Anzahl von Ionen stören, ist zur Bestimmung meist eine vorherige Abtrennung des Indiums erforderlich. Man erhält reproduzierbare Ergebnisse.
