Die Arbeit wurde im März 1927 abgeschlossen, im Juni 1927 an der Technischen Hochschule München als Doktor - Dissertation eingereicht. Die experimentellen Untersuchungen wurden im Versuchsfeld der AEG-Fabriken, Brunnenstraße, durchgeführt.
