Experimental bronchopneumonia

Summary

An experimental method for producing pneumonia in rabbits is presented. A culture ofB. enteritidis gartneri was obtained from a rabbit having developed the disease spontaneously. This organism was used to reproduce the disease in 100% of the animals inoculated intratracheally.
