Abstract
The purpose and objectives of IGCP Project 98 are discussed in terms of the outcome of a computer-assisted teleconference and workshop. Recommendations are made by the project participants regarding methodologies of resource inventories, of resource assessments, and of reserve assessments. These recommendations result from descriptions of available methodologies and their relative values in making mineral and energy resource assessments.
