Abstract
Linear correlations between the diameter log Φ of ring-shaped nebulae and the total number logN of embedded stars for two absolute magnitude levels of −2m and +2m for the LMC have been found. This shows that less luminous stars are also contributing towards the illumination of the nebulae. A method for the determination of relative ages of these loop nebulae is described.
