Conclusions
-
1.
It has been shown possible to make thin films of some quasibinary systems by vacuum evaporation of a mechanical mixture of the components.
-
2.
Thin films of PbTexSe1−X and PbSe1−XSX have been found to show continuous series of solid solutions with the rock salt structure.
-
3.
There is a restricted region of solid solutions in the system PbTe--PbS.
