Conclusions
-
1.
Spectrophotometric methods showed that Ce(IV) forms a single complex with ethylenediaminetetracetic acid.
-
2.
Kinetic studies showed that when NO −3 is present, the rate of reduction of Ce(IV) by complexone has a different dependence than when SO 2−4 is present.
