Conclusions

The experimental x-ray emission spectra of Ni2B and Ni3B are in satisfactory agreement with the calculated electron energy spectra of these phases obtained by the GO-LCAO method. The main result of this is the satisfactory correlation between the calculated parameters of the electron structure and the experimentally detected parameters of electrode transfer and elastodynamic state in the phases examined.

The data obtained in this work indicate that the energy of interatomic interaction and the degree of polarization increased and the degree of degeneracy of carriers decreases with increasing B/Ni ratio.
